Each ceramic top is meticulously made by hand in Stoke-on-Trent, making every piece entirely unique, then signed and numbered by the maker. Each box has a striker strip, both practical and decorative — designed to be left on display beside a candle, fireplace or bedside. The boxes make a great host gift, or self gift adding a little pop of colour and interest on a side table, console or bedside.

Inside, each box contains 40 coloured extra-long safety matches, offering a thoughtful balance of function and craftsmanship.

Each ceramic piece is handmade with care, and as the glazes react uniquely in the kiln, delicate crackles may appear - an entirely natural and beautiful hallmark of the firing process.
