A little brass bell on a soft velvet ribbon, made for hanging on a tree, a door handle or a length of garland. Each bell is hand formed in India from recycled tin and finished in warm brass, with a small metal striker inside so it actually rings.

The bell stands around 4.5 cm from the top of its handle to the base and hangs from a velvet ribbon about 1 cm wide and 11.5 cm long, made in Vietnam. The handle is either a triangle or a rounded loop, and an order comes all one way or the other rather than a mix.

Because each is hand formed, no two are quite alike. Small dents, a slightly uneven base or a colour that leans warm are all part of it. The ribbon ends are treated to stop them fraying, which leaves them a little stiff.

Choose from a range of velvet colourways. The brass can rub off onto pale surfaces, so hang it with a little care.
