Description

Pluma scatters small feathered motifs across the floor in a close, repeating pattern. In Ink they fall as flecks of cream and soft gold over a deep navy ground, dense and detailed, with the look of something block printed by hand.

It is hand tufted from semi worsted wool with polished cotton, worked in a cut and loop pile so the motifs stand a little proud of the ground and catch the light. Each rug is made to order at Concept Hand Tufting in Thorp Arch, Yorkshire, and takes around three months.

This listing is the 2 by 3 metre size. Pluma is also made at 1.2 by 1.8 metres, 2.5 by 3 metres and larger, and both the size and the colours can be changed to suit your room through our bespoke service. Delivery is kerbside at £120 per rug.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Vacuum regularly on a low setting, without a rotating brush bar. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in, and do not rub. Some shedding is normal with a new cut pile wool rug and eases over the first few months. Have it professionally cleaned when needed, and rotate now and then so it wears evenly. Use a rug underlay to stop it slipping.
