Description

Terra takes its pattern from Patagonia stone, the broken colours and veins you find in a cut slab. Panels of cream and pale stone are edged in fine gold and warm taupe, so the rug reads like polished marble laid soft underfoot.

It is hand tufted from merino wool with delicate silk, worked in a cut and loop pile that gives the veining its depth. The silk catches the light along the gold, much as it would across real stone. Each one is made to order with Concept Hand Tufting in Thorp Arch, Yorkshire, and takes around three months to make.

This listing is for the 2 by 3 metre size. Terra is also made at 1.2 by 1.8 metres, 2.5 by 3 metres and larger, and both the size and the colours can be adjusted to suit your room through our bespoke service. Delivery is kerbside at £120 per rug.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Vacuum regularly using suction only, without a beater bar or rotating brush, which can catch the loops. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth and do not rub. Use a professional rug cleaner for a deep clean. Rotate the rug now and then for even wear and lay it over a suitable underlay. If a loop is ever snagged, trim it level with scissors and never pull it.
