Trace is the quieter design in the collection, a field of fine contour lines that ring and fold like the grain in stone. In Oyster those lines sit in a soft oatmeal greige, pale and tonal, so the rug reads as texture more than pattern and slips easily into a calm room.

It is hand tufted from semi worsted wool with polished cotton, worked in a dense, even cut pile. The cotton gives the surface a soft sheen and holds the fine lines crisp. Each rug is made to order with Concept Hand Tufting from Thorp Arch, Yorkshire, and takes around three months.

This listing is the 2 by 3 metre size. Trace is also made at 1.2 by 1.8 metres, 2.5 by 3 metres and larger, and both the size and the colours can be changed to suit your room through our bespoke service. Delivery is kerbside at £120 per rug.
