Trove takes its markings from tortoiseshell, the soft mottling of amber and cream that shifts across the floor and never quite repeats. In this colourway the ground is a warm, honeyed gold broken by pools of pale ivory, so the rug reads as something found rather than printed.

It is hand tufted from semi worsted wool with a little delicate silk, worked in a cut pile that sits dense and even underfoot. The silk catches the light through the paler passages and gives them a quiet sheen as you move past. Each one is made to order with Concept Hand Tufting based in Thorp Arch, Yorkshire, and takes around three months to make.

This listing is for the 2 by 3 metre size. Trove is also made at 1.2 by 1.8 metres, 2.5 by 3 metres and larger, and both the size and the colours can be adjusted to suit your room through our bespoke service. Delivery is kerbside at £120 per rug.
